After (what seemed like) a long wait, PSP graced us with the next event layout. For Chicago it's somewhat of a change as this event has had some funky snakes the last couple of years. Some points of interest, stated with the obvious knowledge that no, I haven't seen this layout in person.... yet.
1. How will the lanes shape up on this field? It seems that from the back center the snake side lane is a fools gold shot. The dorito side lane has a promising angle (no 's!) but there are several ways around it. There may be some cross shot run and gun shoot n scoot lanes, it looks like those shots will require mad skills... with a z.
2. What's stopping the snake? There are lots of ways and times to get into it. Is that a gap? Cause the kill angle through it looks rough. Or is there a bounce shot there? Or is the point to make the snake player go wide around that knucke?
3. Speaking of snakesssssssss- is S1 even effective? Or S2? S3 looks cozy though!
4. Is Doritos making the field layouts now? Cause the D side is a mixed bag. All these bunkers look easy to get into. Even some kewl over the top shots. And then there's D side 2.0.
5. I spy some nifty X angles, and all your ducks are in a row. Speaking of, what a nice blind for some trick trick runs.
